Screen Resolution (Discussion)

One problem that always crops up is how do I change the screen resolution after the install fails to display the correct one.

    What is the linux distribution you are using? There is GUI tools for adjusting screen resolution in some distros such as FEdora and Ubuntu but you can always change the X-settings manually. So please tell us what is the name of the linux you are using?
